The cabinet has decided to move the New Yearholiday from January 2 to December 29.

The Cabinet of Thailand has approved official holidays for the New Year festivities.

During a Cabinet meeting, a decision was made to shift the holiday from January 2nd to December 29th.

The official holidays will extend for 4 days, from December 29th to January 1st. January 2nd will be the first working day of 2024.

This measure aims to promote domestic tourism and support the economy.
