The Perseids are active from mid-July to late August.
According to the institute's data, this year's peak, with a rate of bright meteors ranging from 60 to 100 per hour, is expected during the night of August 12th to 13th, approximately from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
The Perseid meteor shower can be observed with the naked eye in darkness, provided the weather is clear.
Observatories in the provinces of Chachengsao, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Songkhla will also be open to visitors interested in observing the meteor shower.
