Alcohol Sales Prohibited in Thailand this Sunday

This Sunday in Thailand, there will be a ban on the sale of alcohol. On the 29th of October, Buddhists celebrate Wan Awk Phansa, marking the end of a significant Buddhist fasting period.
Since this day is considered sacred for Buddhists, all shops, bars, and restaurants are prohibited from selling alcohol for 24 hours.
Violations of this ban can result in penalties, including up to 6 months of imprisonment and/or a fine of up to 10,000 baht.
