A cat saved the life of a 12-year-old girl after a cobra entered her bedroom in Saraburi province

A cat saved the life of a 12-year-old girl after a cobra entered her bedroom.

The incident occurred yesterday during the day in the Kut Nok Plao area of Saraburi province.

The girl, who was home alone due to illness, was resting with her beloved cat in her room.

A little later, she woke up due to strange sounds.

As it turned out, the cat spotted the snake and began to hiss at it, thus trying to get attention and protect the child.

The girl managed to flee the room and called her parents, who in turn summoned snake experts.

Upon arriving at the scene, rescuers captured the cobra and treated the cat's eyes, as the snake likely could have released venom.

The 1-meter-long cobra was released as far away from residential areas as possible. Residents of the house were asked to monitor the snake situation, as their numbers have noticeably increased in this area during the rainy season.
